WSPD: Ohio cop suspended over mustache.
Toledo, OH (WSPD-AM) - An Ohio Police officer will spend three days at home on unpaid suspension for not trimming back his "General Custer" style mustache.

Sylvania Township trustees voted to suspend Officer Ron Discus after the officer reportedly failed to follow his police chief's orders to trim back the mustache.

"This is not about a mustache. This is about the failure to obey a direct order. And we can't have police officers deciding which orders they're going to follow and which orders they're not going to follow," said Sylvania Township Trustee Dee Dee Leidel.

Discus reportedly didn't trim the mustache for 11 days after being ordered to do so, before the trustees stepped in.
